The French marque Ultima existed for half a century. A Monsieur
Billion first started making light motorcycles in Lyons in
1908. The plant began with 125cc single-cylinders and over
the years worked its way up to 500cc V twins. Engine blocks
came from a number of suppliers including Zürcher, Aubier-Dunne
and JAP.
